Colonial Williamsburg

Colonial Williamsburg is Williamsburg’s premier school field trip destination, offering schools assistance in addressing educational standards and individually tailoring an experience that fits unique classroom needs. Once your students step into the Historic Area they are fully immersed in 18th-century Virginia’s colonial capital city. Their interactive programs, guided tours and evening programs will engage students’ minds. Students will see and experience life as the founding families did in the 1700s, and the Colonial Williamsburg tour guides will make their learning fun!

Jamestown Settlement

A museum of 17th-century Virginia, Jamestown Settlement explores the world of America’s first permanent English colony in 1607 and the Virginia Native Americans who have occupied Virginia’s landscape for centuries. The museum features an introductory film, exhibition galleries, and historical interpretation in outdoor re-creations of Paspahegh Town, three ships – Susan Constant, Godspeed and Discovery, and a 1610-14 fort.

American Revolution Museum at Yorktown

America’s struggle for independence, from the beginnings of colonial unrest to the formation of the new nation, is chronicled at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown through the stories of citizens and soldiers in gallery exhibits, films, and outdoor living history. Visitors can muster with troops in a re-created Continental Army encampment and help with chores at a re-created Revolution-era farm.

Colonial Hauntings Tour

Journey by candlelight through the streets of Colonial Williamsburg, listening to eerie tales of Williamsburg’s only witch trial, Black Beard and his crew, the questionable Lady Skipwith, Lucy of Ludwell and ghostly parties at Raleigh Tavern.

Busch Gardens
